David Bratož, a graduate economist, was born in 1976 in Novo mesto.

He has been employed at Krka since 2001. He began his career in the Finance Sector, where he carried out several important projects. In 2003, he started working in Sales, in the Central Europe Region. That same year, he moved to Krka’s subsidiary in Warsaw, where, as Sales Manager, he was responsible for customers, primarily wholesalers and pharmacies. Due to his successful work, he became Director of Krka – Polska in 2007, taking operational responsibility for marketing, sales, production, and distribution. Together with his colleagues, he developed Krka – Polska into one of Krka’s largest and most successful subsidiaries.

On the proposal of Jože Colarič, the Supervisory Board appointed him a Management Board member in 2015 for the term 2016–2021. During this term, he played an important role in updating Krka’s development strategy and was responsible for managing finance, the economics of international and domestic operations, the Krka Group controlling function, and the development of business informatics. Under his mandate, Krka further accelerated digitalization and the use of cloud technologies, and upgraded the field of information security. In 2021, the Supervisory Board unanimously appointed him to a new six‑year term for the period 2022–2027, during which he also leads the expert group responsible for advancing sustainability management at Krka. From 2018 to 2025, he was a member of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia Supervisory Board.

He assumed the four‑year term as President of the Chamber on 24 April 2025.

 

Marko Gorjup, MSc, President of the Chamber of Commerce of Dolenjska and Bela krajina 2021 - 2025

Marko Gorjup, who has a university degree in mechanical engineering and a master's degree in entrepreneurship, was born in 1968 in Novo mesto. 

He built his professional career within the TPV Group for more than 30 years. Through various positions, he gained extensive knowledge of the company's business processes and gradually assumed managerial responsibilities. In July 2006, he became a Member of the Management Board of TPV d.d., and in July 2016 he was appointed Director and President of the Management Board of TPV d.o.o. From 2019 to 2025, he served as Director of TPV GROUP d.o.o., the parent company of the TPV Group.

Since April 2025, he has been leading the consulting company MG Consult, d. o. o., through which, together with top experts with more than 25 years of experience in business processes, particularly in the automotive industry, they provide comprehensive support to companies in their strategic and operational development.

His four-year term as the President of the Chamber of Commerce of Dolenjska and Bela krajina began on 24 April 2021, when he replaced the long-standing President of the Chamber Jože Colarič, Krka, d. d., Novo mesto.

 

Jože Colarič, President of The Chamber of Commerce of Dolenjska and Bela krajina 2007 - 2021

Born in 1955 in Brežice. Completed his studies at the Faculty of Economics in Ljubljana in 1979.

He has been a member of Krka's staff since 1982, where he performed various executive duties. In 1997 he was appointed as member of the Management Board. In the following year, he was nominated by Krka's Supervisory Board as Deputy to the President of the Management Board, and in the year 2002 was verified as a future president of the management board and as a mandator for preparation of the proposal for the new management.

At its meeting held on 12 July 2004, the Supervisory Board appointed him for the future President of the Management Board and Chief Executive with a five year mandate starting on 1 January 2005. At its meeting held on 21 January 2009, the Supervisory Board appointed Mr. Colarič to act as President also for the next six-year mandate starting on 1 January 2010.

At the founding assembly of the first independent regional chamber in Slovenia - the Chamber of Commerce of Dolenjska and Bela krajina - on 23 April 2007, he was appointed as the president of the Chamber of the period of two years. After the lapse of this period on the 3rd assembly of the Chamber the members have entrusted him to lead the Chamber for the next 4 years, on the 7th assembly of the Chamber for the next 4 years and on the 11th assembly of the Chamber for the next 4 years - till year 2021.
