Section for Informatics

The economy of Dolenjska and Bela krajina region is among the fastest growing in Slovenia. It excels in high income and profit growth and in its pronounced export orientation. But we also meet with various problems since the region is behind the national level in development of information technology. So one of the main assignments of our Section is to stimulate faster development of information society in aim to catch up with the technologically more developed regions.

Vision

By stimulating application of modern techniques and technology contributing to improvement and promise to continuous development of quality of life, economy and tourism in the region with a goal to become one of the most competitive, dynamic and people friendly communities in this part of Europe.
